I have always loved candles. The magic of wax and wick. About four years ago a friend introduced me to Gold Canyon candles. The scents are absolutely intoxicating, wherever you want to be, they take you there. I wish I could say my motivation for wanting the wonderful aromatherapy was because I need to unwind in my bubble bath after a long beautiful day. But my reasons were much more....well, real.
Dogs and kids, and lots of them. Boating and camping related smells, and lots of them. A big open space with a too-old carpet. Much to my shock, lighting one of the jar candles would fill my entire 800 square foot living room/kitchen area with a wonderful scent. I have to say the aromatherapy truly has saved my sanity on many a day in the past year.
I trade out scents frequently, and burn my econosize 26 oz jar candles every day. One of my favorite things is when I come home from work to find my husband has a candle going. Considering that he has not bought one home decor item in our entire relationship, it's quite notable that he uses the candles even when i'm not home!
Back to the topic at hand.....I decided that I love these candles enough to be a demonstrator for Gold Canyon. Especially in difficult times, we cannot forgo ALL indulgences. Women especially have a natural need to be nurtured, and these days sometimes we have to create that for ourselves. Our noses tell us as much as our eyes, that we are home, that we are safe, that we can relax. Join me in the journey to make life a little nicer.
